Future Plans for ASPIRE

Since our founding in 2001, ASPIRE has been reliant on the unrelenting efforts of its devoted and passionate volunteers. To date, ASPIRE has developed relationships with many local high schools and universities, connected young girls with mentors and provided career and leadership development training to over 350 girls. There are currently more than 700 Asian American women in the ASPIRE network, and through the efforts of ASPIRE's many dedicated volunteers and Board of Directors, we are serving a previously unmet need and directly shaping the futures of young Asian American girls.

In order to take ASPIRE to the next level – with increased reach (particularly to underprivileged communities) and larger-scale programs – ASPIRE aims to build a permanent staff of a full-time Executive Director and support team and obtain office space in the near future. This small but critical staff would work in tandem with our volunteers, Board and community partners to lead ASPIRE in a more efficient and sustainable manner for future generations to come. ASPIRE has a fundraising goal of $100K this upcoming year in order to make ASPIRE's staff and office space a reality. We are seeking development support through grants, foundations, advertising revenue, individual contributions and corporate sponsorships.
